Privacy

Updated on 15 October 2026

This page exists in French, English and Spanish. If they differ, the French version prevails.

Visiting the website asks nothing of you: no form, no advertising cookie, no audience measurement. Only the optional player area uses a login cookie.

Controller

Eolia’s publisher (see the legal notice), reachable at [email protected].

On this website

  • No form, no newsletter.
  • No advertising cookie, no audience measurement tool, no third-party script.
  • As with any website, the servers that deliver it (Cloudflare and Hetzner) receive technical data on each visit: IP address, browser, requested page, date. This data is only used to run the website and protect it from attacks.
  • The “Add to my calendar” button downloads a calendar file. It sends no data.
  • The Discord link leads to a third-party service, which applies its own privacy policy.

In the player area

To log in, you confirm in the game a code shown on the website. Eolia never asks for your Minecraft or Microsoft password, nor for your email address.

  • Data: your Minecraft identifier (UUID), your name and skin, the date your web account was created and, for each session, the type of browser and system (for example “Chrome on macOS”), its confirmation date and its last activity.
  • Your IP address is only used, in memory, to limit abuse: it is never saved in our database.
  • Cookies: __Host-eolia_session keeps you logged in and, during a login, __Host-eolia_link ties the page to the code shown for a few minutes. They are strictly necessary: set only if you log in, they serve no other purpose.
  • Skin images go through our servers: your browser does not contact Mojang’s.
  • Retention: a session ends when you log out, after 14 days without a visit, and after 30 days at most. A login code disappears as soon as it is used, otherwise one hour after it expires. Your web account stays until you delete it. A security log (confirmed logins, closed sessions, deleted accounts) is kept for 12 months, without IP address or code.
  • Deletion: in the settings of your area, “Delete my web account” erases your account and your sessions. Your game on the server is not affected.
  • This data is stored on Eolia’s game server, hosted by OVH. Traffic goes through Cloudflare and the website’s host, Hetzner.

On the Minecraft server

When you join the server, it processes your name, your Minecraft identifier (UUID), your IP address, your chat messages and your progress. This data is used to run the game, save your progress and moderate (cheating, abuse). It stays on our servers and is never sold or shared.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, object to its processing or have it restricted, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within one month. If the reply does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
